I am obsessed with the neat, chic little chairs from the middle of the last century. Today we’re used to slouching around, half asleep, in big squashy sofas today that take up half the living room. Here at Jacob Street we are predicting that rich, ethnic-inspired styles in jewel tones will continue as a key influence in interiors and fashion.

OK, so our summer looks like it’s over now, but that shouldn’t stop us dressing like it’s summer, should it? To me, there’s nothing more summery than coral and gold – it’s the sartorial equivalent to the smell of suntan lotion.
These gorgeous vintage brooches and bracelets look really good together and are a great way to brighten up your day. Even if it’s blowing a gale and pouring outside.

Botanic and tropical prints are everywhere this season, this seventies dress should be accessorised with some serious shades and a pina colada! Perfect for sashing round the most exclusive cocktail parties.
